An absolute premium product. Handmade in Argentina. This mate gourd is crafted with meticulous handwork. The interior is made of gourd, wrapped in leather, with the sun hand-carved into the leather. The bronze letters and symbol are hand-soldered to the alpaca silver ferrule. The feet are also made of alpaca silver and adorned with bronze beads. The bombilla (smoke bomb) features a micro-perforated filter, is 100% alpaca, and the Sol de Mayo (May Day) symbol is also soldered to the bombilla tube. This is a truly unique piece.

Note: Before first use, the mate must be "cured." Only when the mate is "cured" is it ready to drink yerba mate from. You can see how to do this here:
