This is a Barbacúa-style yerba mate and undergoes an 18-month maturation process. The Barbacúa drying method is a specific technique for drying the leaves of Ilex paraguarensis, where the leaves are dried over a fire at approximately 70°C. Furthermore, this yerba mate was organically grown.
This yerba mate is produced in limited quantities. It is a strong, aromatic variety and, thanks to its long fermentation process, does not cause heartburn.
