A yerba variety from Argentina, classic con palo from the Misiones province. As with all yerbas produced by small organic farmers in Argentina, this yerba is organic. Blended with peppermint, pennyroyal, and dwarf pepper. Natural aging of the mate leaves for 12 months. Does not cause heartburn. Gluten-free.

The mate leaves were dried for 18 months.

Ingredients: 95% Yerba Mate, 2% peppermint, 1.5% dwarf pepper and 1.5% pennyroyal

Either as a classic mate: Fill the mate cup 3/4 with yerba, shake the cup (holding it slightly to one side so that the yerba stays on only one side), then pour approx. 70-80 degree Celsius hot water into the part where there is no yerba (filling it approx. halfway), then wait approx. 2 minutes, now place the bombilla in the empty area and pour the mate up to just below the metal clamp.

Alternatively as a tea: approx. 3-4 tablespoons of yerba per 1 liter and let steep for approx. 6 minutes.
