This is an organic yerba, meaning that this yerba contains no other chemical agents due to its organic cultivation.

Unlike other organic yerba mate varieties, which I usually find rather bland, this one is a bit stronger and retains its flavor for a long time without becoming "lavado," or "washed out." Nevertheless, it's a relatively mild yerba mate with a slightly smoky aftertaste.
