Luigi Bosca de Sangre Malbec

The Malbec de Sangre from the traditional Luigi Bosca winery comes from select vineyards in Las Compuertas, in the heart of Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza. The name "De Sangre" – "from the blood" – represents exceptional wines meant to be shared with loved ones – a centuries-old tradition.

Fruity and spicy aroma

Besides its impressive violet-red color, this Malbec impresses with fresh notes of plum and cherry. Spicy and intense nuances of ripe red fruits lend the wine depth. On the palate, the red wine is soft and full-bodied. A red wine of great character with a long, lingering finish.

The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully selected, then undergo cold maceration before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This wine then matures for 12 months in oak barrels, which imparts a refined, spicy character. Responsible for this style is oenologist Pablo Cúneo, who embodies the Luigi Bosca quality philosophy, a tradition of Argentine winemaking spanning over 120 years, characterized by meticulous work and a focus on detail.
